New Download: Port Reporter (PortRptr.exe)
I just downloaded this new tool and have been reviewing the output. It installs as a service and writes log files to C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\PortReporter. Most of the information you can get already using the latest version of netstat in Windows Server 2003 and the Sysinternals TCPView tool. But it would be useful if you want to monitor port usage over a period of time. CAUTION: the log files grow pretty quickly so make sure you have ample space before leaving it turned on for an extended period.
