Future of Scripting on the Windows platform
Danny Boyd posted on open letter to Microsoft on his weblog asking about the future direction of scripting on the Windows platform. Amen brother. I've been confused about that ever since .NET came out and they didn't add support for VBScript. Rumor has it that MS is going to include a brand new shell and scripting model in Longhorn called MSH. I wonder what that will mean for WSH??? If anyone knows more about this, please email me.

News article: Virus authors are winning by a considerable margin
Just read an interesting article about how cyber crimes are big business. I'm really surprised we haven't seen a virus exploit Active Directory yet. It would be extremely easy to write. What is the easiest way to get a list of all the employees in a company? Well if the company is running Active Directory and hasn't done anything special to lock down access to user objects, any authenticated user can enumerate all the objects in the domain.
